A Sacmi headlined mission in Jakarta for the beverage&closures

On the scene, the latest plant novelties of the Group within a 360 degrees technological offer from the raw material to the bottle, up to the solutions for the total quality control.

The best of Sacmi’s plants and technological offer for the beverage-closures industry go on date in Plastic&Rubber 2015, the international exhibition of Jakarta (18th to 21st November 2015) dedicated to the rubber and plastics industry and which hosts within it the Drinktech Indonesia Fair, organised with the support and contribution of Asrim and Gapmmi, the main Indonesian associations of producers in the food&beverage.

Among the most dynamic economies of South-East Asia, Indonesia sees particular growth prospective in the beverage industry, thanks to the significant increase of the middle class and the progressive internationalisation of the local cuisine. According to the reports published by Gapmmi (Indonesian Food&Beverage Producers Association, among the organisers of Drinktech), the Indonesian market of food&beverage in 2014 was worth 1,000 trillion rupees (over 66 billion Euros), with an average growth rate on an annual basis of nearly 10 percentage points.

Present in the Country with two Companies, Sacmi Molds&Dies and Sacmi Impianti Indonesia, the Group offers a punctual technical assistance service and spare parts service through technicians trained on site and highly specialised. A further guarantee for the customer that complements the activities of the R&S laboratory of the Italian parent Company, where are developed and tested the solutions since the design stage, certified by the top international players in the industry.

Just back from a two-year period full of technological and plant novelties, Sacmi has therefore great expectations further to the Jakarta Fair appointment, where visitors will be able to meet the Sacmi representatives at the stand of the Group (B 451) to deepen the latest developments of the range, from the new IPS 400 with 96 and 128 cavities (part of the plurennial project injection preform moulding), to the consolidated CCM range for caps which, by exploiting all the advantages of the compression technology and of the COOL+ moulds, proposes performing and higher quality caps, with extremely reduced cycle times and particularly low energy consumptions. Wherefrom the solutions for the production of containers of the CBF (compression blow forming) range, culmination of two technologies (compression and blowing) in both of which Sacmi is world leader. Finally, the technologies for the ultra-clean filling and the modular labelling machines, which go alongside with the automated and high efficiency systems for quality control, both on line and in the laboratory.

Among the latter, in 2015 Sacmi has developed the revolutionary CUBE EYE, the new 3D eye capable of performing a full tomography of the cap-bottle system in an effective and non destructive manner, by highlighting all the sealing features of the cap and of the container in every environmental and transport condition.
