A new GA2000 robot for Vitra Eczacibasi

The Turkish Group strengthens its links with Sacmi technology.

Vitra Eczacibasi consolidates its partnership with the Sacmi Group to improve performance of the glazing department at its plant in Bozüyük: its 25th Gaiotto robot has recently been started up for production.

In addition to being highly versatile, the GA 2000 model also stands out for its reliability, precision and efficiency: all qualities which guarantee the product will have an excellent finish. The process is made even more efficient thanks to the Mass Control system which optimizes the glaze and its application thus reducing wastage.

In fact cutting down on glaze wastage and reducing pollution of the glaze cell washing water are two priority objectives for Eczacibasi. The Group is the first Turkish member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), an international association of approx. 190 of the largest industrial groups in the world, whose main goal is to promote policies for sustainable development focusing attention on topics such as climate and energy, development, the role of business and safeguarding the eco-system.
