A new Sacmi plant in France

An overhauled Gambini Group plant goes high-performance thanks to Sacmi presses, a drier and feeder systems.

High-performance reorganisation! That’s what Sacmi has supplied to the Gambini Group production plant in Parefeuille Provance. At Fournés Remoulins, in fact, Sacmi has, for the very first time, provided all the machines essential to the high-performance renovation of a plant. Our technicians replaced a series of existing presses with two PH 2890s; these were equipped with linear filler boxes and dies made by Sacmi Molds&Dies so as to achieve efficient cycles with a range of tile sizes.
To complete the plant Sacmi also provided an 11.3-metre ECP 285 drier and feeder units to connect to the presses and glazing lines. A Sacmi Automation palletizer (10 pallet places) with a double, independent pick-up device was also installed to cope with high output rates. Fournés Remoulins was the largest French plant to be set up by Sacmi in 2005.
