A new addition to the indian refractory producer market

Sacmi wins the trust of Sarvesh Refractories Ltd.

Sarvesh Refractories Ltd., one of India’s major producers of refractory materials, has entrusted Sacmi with a production technology and process innovation project. The purpose of this project is to strengthen the excellent results achieved by this Indian group in recent years, results that have seen sales more than triple since 2004.

At the Kuarmunda plant in Orissa, in fact, a 2000-ton hydraulic press for the production of magnesite-based refractories will be installed by the end of the year. The PHR 2006, equipped with the latest multi-axis system for differentiated thickness control, will also be used for the production of steel pouring slide gates.

In keeping with Sacmi Group policy, the completely automatic PHR 2006 hydraulic press was recently redesigned in full compliance with consumption reduction and energy efficiency targets, thus resulting in significantly lower running costs and heightened levels of productivity.

This partnership with Sarvesh, a new and important industrial group, highlights the high degree of satisfaction with the investments that Sacmi is making in India in terms of human resources and continuous technical improvements; that satisfaction also stems from the support provided by subsidiaries in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, once again making the Sacmi Group a winner in terms of both technological quality and after sales service.
