A new plant for Ceramica Casalgrande Padana in Dinazzano (Reggio Emilia).

A new multi-functional plant should arrive in Dinazzano (Reggio Emilia) at the end of 2000 to increase production at Ceramica Casalgrande Padana. This represents one of the most substantial, but certainly farsighted, investments that the Reggio Emilia-based company has made in recent years. The most important machines in the plant are manufactured by SACMI IMOLA and of particular interest are the innovative PH4600 presses. Without a doubt, these presses have the highest tonnage of any mass-produced presses which will be launched this year in Italy. SACMI will also supply two spray driers (ATM 36 and 65), two 100,000 litre capacity continuous mills, two vertical driers and two 100 m FMP kilns (with covering). The plant will come in the CASALGRANDE company colours and will be controlled by state-of-the-art computer systems that can be linked up directly with SACMI. The computer systems will also be supplied by the Imola-based company.
