A second line at Ceramica Castelvetro

High-performance PH 3800 with a clearance of 2450 mm installed to serve vertical drier

Ceramica Castelvetro doubles up. At the Solignano plant in the province of Modena Sacmi’s technicians have now completed the start-up of a second high-productivity line consisting of a PH 3800 press (with a clearance of 2450 mm) and a suitable linear filler box to feed the powders. The just-installed PH 3800 constitutes the exact mid-way point between the “small” 400-ton presses and their high-power 7200-ton counterparts, thus offering a highly compact machine with outstanding clearance. The press that has just come on line serves a vertical EVA 984 drier that matches clearance perfectly.
Ceramica Castelvetro’s decision to double the line – installed only a few months ago – demonstrates just how useful these high-clearance compact machines are: in short, they provide nothing less than outstanding production performance.
