The kiln for firing sanitary ware XLNt chosen among the selected projects inside the ADI Design Index 2003

The Association for Industrial Design – ADI – has selected the kiln for firing sanitary ware XLNt for the Design Index 2003, one of the organization’s most important tools in terms of Italian design. It deals with a book that serves as historic and concrete reference for anyone wanting to be informed on the state of the art of the Italian design industry and as efficient working tool. For three years now, ADI has got this book thanks to a permanent design observatory composed of many professionals in the field, from journalists to designers. The observatory has a strong commitment to expediently and efficiently recognizing and noting novelties in the sector. In these years the activity of the observatory and the ADI Design Indexes has built up a good selection in the field of the Italian production and design, also towards sectors very different from the usual furnishing one. This work prepares – with a new volume dedicated to 2003 – the next XXth edition of the ADI Compasso D’Oro Award, which will be held at the end of 2004 and which coincides also with the 50th of award. The kiln XLNt, giving so much satisfaction to Sacmi Forni, has been attributed the ADI Design Index seal of quality, to be visible at the following address:
