Antonella Ruggiero to star in “A history to celebrate”

On 2nd December a free concert will be held at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Imola to celebrate Sacmi’s 85th anniversary

Sacmi’s 85th anniversary is to be celebrated with a free concert at the “Palazzetto dello Sport” in Imola. On 2nd December at 9pm, Antonella Ruggiero, one of the truly great contemporary Italian singers, will be the star attraction at our “A history to celebrate” event. Ruggiero - the vibrant, unforgettable voice of Matia Bazar - will be accompanied in her performance (titled “Sacrarmonia”) by the Arké String Project and percussionist Ivan Ciccarelli. Open to the public, this event is part of a series of celebrations to mark the Imola-based Group’s 85th anniversary. A large stage will be mounted at the Palazzetto with a seating capacity of up to 1200. The concert is both a tribute to Antonella Ruggiero and an excellent meeting opportunity. For Sacmi, this event is part of an attempt to reconcile the seemingly incompatible yet essential spheres of Art and Business and participate in the daily life and development of Imola in as varied a way as possible.
