Aracemco, Egypt, continues to grow with Sacmi

new SSK 440 kiln

With Sacmi products, expansion is almost inevitable: that’s certainly the case at Egypt-based Aracemco, a tile manufacturer that has been nurturing mutually rewarding relations with the SACMI WHITEWARE division for more than a year now - and has been expanding fast. Agreements have led to the installation of important new items of production machinery such as the SSK440/170 – 8 shuttle kiln with a volume of 78.8 m³ for the firing and re-firing of sanitaryware items. From a technological viewpoint, this is one of the most modern, perfectly designed pieces of hardware going. Instalment and start-up was carried out by Sacmi WW in January 2002. An important step, then, for Aracemco, towards future growth and success; the company, producer of some 4 million m² of tiles and 10,500 tons of sanitaryware, has a clear strategy of stimulating growth through continuous, well targeted investment. After purchasing a tunnel kiln in 1999, the last few months have seen them make further investments in the form of a new shuttle kiln for firing, re-firing and decoration. The cutting–edge control and temperature systems featured on this machine - rapidly gaining widespread consensus among manufacturers in general - are a sound way of ensuring top product quality. This is, really, the only strategy that will lead to increased market shares: a fact that Aracemco is obviously well aware of as it now exports to several countries including Italy, the Low Countries, Cyprus, Greece, Jordan Libya and the Ivory Coast.
