Ceramica Argenta chooses Sacmi yet again

Spanish company raises output capacity by purchasing a FMS2950/138.6 kiln and a 2250 mm-clearance PH3020 press

Ceramica Argenta continues to grow – with Sacmi. This Spanish company has just purchased a FMS2950/138.6 kiln and a PH3020 press with an inter-column clearance of 2250 mm from the Group, raising its output capacity by 50%.
The single-channel roller kiln, 2,950 mm wide, is able to produce 500x500 mm pieces five-in-a-row and, together with the other two Sacmi kilns already operative at Ceramica Argenta, will raise floor tile output to around 36,000 square metres a day.
The PH3020 press, with an inter-column clearance of 2250 mm, will be installed together with the EVA983 drier in July 2006: it joins the other five Sacmi PH3020 presses already owned by the Spanish company. One of the most important technical features on this plant is the high output rate, achieved thanks to the combination of considerable load width and fast execution of the pressing cycle.
