Ceramica Azzurra reinforces its glazing department

Ceramica Azzurra has given its glazing department a boost with a new integrated, automatic Sacmi/Gaiotto glazing centre.

This new‘island’, which came on stream in September, is extremely versatile and suitable for all models in both Vitreous China and Fine Fire Clay.

Consisting of a 4-station carousel with a glazing booth, this integrated glazing centre is entirely controlled by the computer on the GA2000 robot; there is no PLC. All machine functions and relative settings are made directly via the joystick.
The Mass Control system with the new GDA80 spray gun, first presented at Tecnargilla 2014, is extremely important for the quality of the spraying process; incorporated inside the software of the GA2000, it ensures total control of the parameters of each individual programme.
The outstanding versatility of this integrated glazing centre and the ease with which it can be programmed has allowed Azzurra’s technicians to begin high-quality production immediately.

Reliable, precise and efficient, this new Gaiotto system will boost Azzurra’s automatic glazed piece daily output capacity further while ensuring excellent quality standards.

With this latest equipment purchase Azzurra has, then, strengthened its partnership with the Sacmi/Gaiotto Group, which has once again shown its ability to meet all its customers’ needs:

FLEXIBILITY – RELIABILITY – SIMPLICITY – QUALITY - ASSISTANCE.
