Ceramica Cotto Emiliano CO.EM.

Completion of the

Concluding the investment made last year, the end of August will see completion of in-depth renovation at CO.EM., which has decided to produce red body (regranulate dry grinding) and white body (monoporosa body) biscuits using rapid firing technology. The plant features a PH 2890, a 14 m long horizontal 5-layer dryer and a 110 m FMS223 kiln. The production line ends with a machine used to stack the product so that it is ready to be sold to glazing companies. This restructuring provides Cotto Emiliano with just the "flexibility" it needs for the successful selling of wall and floor tiling support products. Once fully operational output levels will be around 6500 m²/day. Furthermore, the extensive area previously taken up by the tunnel kiln lines has now been freed and technological results on the new plant are nothing short of excellent.
