Ceramica Verdi founded on the shores of the Red Sea

Set up in Egypt’s renowned Suez industrial zone at the end of 2010, it’s already producing 12,000 square metres of floor and wall tile a day, an output rate achieved just a few weeks after start-up thanks to Sacmi technology.

As the highly Italian-sounding name might suggest, Ceramica Verdi has decided to rely on the excellence of Sacmi for its main line machines. These include the MMC092 modular mill and the ATM140 spray drier, outstanding machines that feed the two innovative, highly reliable PH3020 presses. Completing the “backbone” of the plant, located in the Ain El Soukna industrial area on the shores of the Red Sea, is a 134-metre kiln – Sacmi-supplied, of course.
This order, then, has laid the basis for a long-standing industrial partnership.

Verdi thus aims to play a major role on the Egyptian ceramic market, while confirming at the same time Sacmi’s role as a strategic industrial partner for companies operating in the African country.
