Sacmi’s Ceramics&Tiles and Whiteware divisions will soon be heading for Poland. For three days, from 10th to 13th September, they’ll be in Cracow for “Polish Ceramics 2006”, the fourth international scientific and technological conference for the ceramic industry: the event will also be hosting the second ceramic show-market.
Sacmi will, of course, be participating at the congress: Gabriele Frignani, from the Ceramics&Tiles Division, will give a talk on “Health recovery and the tile production cycle”. For the Whiteware Division, instead, Peter Kraus of Gaiotto Automation will discuss the matter of “Off-line: a new frontier in programming”.
“Polish Ceramics 2006” is organised by the Faculty of Material and Ceramic Sciences of the University of Science and Technology of Cracow. The event aims to augment the interaction between the industry and the scientific community: this will be reflected in the presentation of advanced research, the possible technological developments of which will then be discussed. In fact, both academic researchers and managers/technical staff from leading ceramic companies will be attending “Polish Ceramics 2006”.
“Polish Ceramics 2006” is, then, also the ideal opportunity for participants to bring themselves up to speed on important matters affecting the ceramic industry, matters that range from the scientific fields of chemistry, mechanics, automatic machines, IT and electronics to architecture, the construction industry and environmental protection.
