Cerform course trainers to include Sacmi personnel

Courses for technicians in the ceramic industry: lessons on grinding and pre-compaction

Sacmi technicians will be among those providing instruction at the course organised by Cerform (the officially recognised Professional Training Association of the Italian ceramic industry) in collaboration with the Bologna Ceramic Centre and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Sacmi has programmed two lectures: “High efficiency grinding systems” (to be given by Walter Tontini, manager of the Grinding Technical Service on 2nd March) and “Pre-compaction systems” (to be given by Alessandro Cocquio, Technical Manager, on 9th March). The purpose of the courses, intended for technicians employed by porcelain tile makers, is to provide participants with the knowledge needed to understand the market’s latest plant engineering and technological innovations and allow them to carry out feasibility analyses as regards their in-company application. The lessons will be held at the Ceramic Centre headquarters in Sassuolo, in the province of Modena.
