Changes and continuity within Sacmi’s top management

Pietro Cassani, already General Manager of Sacmi Imola, to head the Sacmi Group

Pietro Cassani, from Imola and already General Manager of Sacmi Imola, is to be the new General Manager of the Sacmi Group and Managing Director of H.P.S., the holding company which controls the various companies within the Group.

Eugenio Emiliani, who has been at Sacmi since 1977 and at the head of the Group first as Sacmi Imola General Manager from 2001 to 2007 and subsequently as Sacmi Group General Manager, has now reached retirement age. He passes the post on to Cassani who as already been at the helm of Sacmi Imola  for the past two years and President of Acimac (the Confindustria association which brings together Italian manufacturers of machines and systems for the ceramics industry) since 2008.

Eugenio Emiliani will continue to give an important professional and strategic contribution within the Group with particular attention to Negri Bossi and Carle & Montanari but also working with the ceramics division where he has covered the role of Director since 1992.

Sacmi’s Board of Directors has entrusted its new top managers with the responsibility of running the Cooperative in line with its mission statement and with the values which have always distinguished the company at an international level. Innovation and knowledge have always been, and will remain, Sacmi’s greatest assets allowing the company to maintain its position as world leader in the design, production and sale of machines and turnkey plants for the ceramics, plastics, beverage & packaging and food processing industries.
