Colour manufacturers and Twin_Press

More and more companies are switching over to the new Sacmi technology

SACMI twin-press product technology continues to be one of the ceramic industry’s highest-impact technologies. Several key colour manufacturers have already focussed their investments in this direction and in just a few months we have already seen the inauguration of ESMALGLASS. Shortly, the new JOHNSON MATTHEY test lab at Spezzano will also be inaugurated. This facility will consist of the following: 1) first and second press of the Sacmi PH 2000 type. 2) a DIP 160 unit feeding the 2nd PH. 3) a 15 m line with accessories such as the new Sacmi DMS device. This device allows twin press double-fill techniques to be carried out at higher-than-traditional speeds. Development of these products thus continues.
