Cookware, exclusive agreement with Amv

Sacmi will market coining moulds. A partnership to supply everything for the moulding process

An agreement between Sacmi and Amv gives the Group an exclusive for marketing the coining moulds produced by Amv Attrezzeria Marin.
This partnership will allow the Sacmi Group to offer the market the complete piece forming package: high-tonnage press, deep coining mould and an automatic disc loading/unloading system. In short, an all-round, cutting-edge and technologically innovative solution from Sacmi Cookware. This agreement, though, is certainly not limited to the marketing of the moulds: it also involves the development of new technologies that can be applied to the coining of articles in aluminium and other metals.
Amv, Sacmi’s pioneer Cookware customer (which produces semi-finished goods using two PHP 3590 presses), has decided to develop its new products with the aid of a high-tonnage PHP5000 press. The company also holds other international patents with high technological contents, making it a key reference point for the construction of high-quality moulds.
AMV has also purchased an automatic disc preparation and load/unload system of new conception. In addition to accepting discs of different diameters (250 mm/700 mm) this system is somewhat strategic in that it allows an instantaneous switch from automatic to manual production. Developed by Sacmi, the system is positioned at the rear of the press so that the operator can complete mould changes quickly and so achieve flexible production control while minimising downtimes.
