Crushing new performance for the metal sheet pressing industry

Sacmi invests and expands its metal sheet forming operations

The latest addition to Sacmi’s winning team of oil-hydraulic presses is the PHL 1500, designed for the jog-formation of shaped metal sheeting.

The key features of this machine are its 15,000 kN of pressing force, a 200 mm pressing crossbeam stroke, high structural rigidity and a very large pressing top (effective size: 1750 x 1500 mm ).

Moreover, the press offers an outstanding output capacity of up to 20 cycles/min thanks to the fast-response hydraulic circuit - a defining feature on all Sacmi presses.

To meet the growing need for line accessory integration, the press is equipped with an automatic servo system - for the handling of sheet metal inside the press and stacking on the unloading buffer - designed and built by Sacmi together with leading technological partners.

The new forming line model, successfully tested at Imola during April and optimised in May at the customer’s plant, is now a fully fledged constituent of the vast SACMI product range.
