Yet another fine achievement from Benco Pack, the Piacenza-based Sacmi Group company specialised in the design and production of horizontal form-fill-seal machines for the packaging of liquid and paste foods in rigid containers. In continuous expansion on the aseptic packaging field, the company now offers the market a completely renewed range of sterile dosing units.
More specifically, Benco has just completed bacteriological tests in collaboration with Sacmi's R&D centre and the University of Parma to check for effective sterility on its new “Dosyflux” aseptic dosing unit, consisting of flow meters. Thanks to the positive outcome of these tests, the Dosyflux filler is now available on all latest-generation Benco machines. Such machines, available in versions able to produce from 6,000 to 45,000 containers per hour, can be equipped with aseptic fillers capable of dosing from 100 to 1,500 millilitres of product.
With Dosyflux, Benco Pack has taken yet another step along the road of horizontal form-fill-seal technological improvement, to the benefit of established and potential customers alike. Among the secrets behind this latest success for Benco pack – a company dedicated to research and innovation – is the simplicity of the production process: a key factor when working in an aseptic environment as it means the number of parts in contact with the product is reduced to a minimum, thus making the aseptic packaging proces easier. Furthermore, this process design concept minimises machine component wear, simplifies maintenance procedures and ensures accurate dosing.
Note also, among the other advantages of the new sterile filler with flow meters, the possibility of varying product quantity directly via the control panel and sample-monitoring the amount filled by each individual nozzle so as to test, directly on line, the precision of the unit. Dosyflux, assures Benco, is also suitable for products with low electric conductivity or those with variable-size solid pieces in suspension.
