Ege Vitrifiye goes for yet another Sacmi glazing solution

Turkish manufacturer installs new Gaiotto robot

Ege Vitrifiye, a vitreous china and fine-clay sanitaryware manufacturer and a subsidiary of Holding Polat (as is the tile manufacturer Ege Seramik), continues to invest in finished product quality and output flexibility.

They have, in fact, just installed a Gaiotto glazing robot at their plant in the province of Izmir, which has a yearly output capacity of 1.5 million pieces.

Reliable, precise and efficient, the GA 2000 robot guarantees excellent product finishing, a process made even more efficient thanks to combination with a Mass Control system that ensures glaze delivery optimisation and, consequently, waste reduction.

Self-learning programming solutions and an operator interface in Turkish were deliberately chosen by Ege Vitrifiye to ensure fast switches from one product to another, minimal plant downtimes and outstanding user-friendliness.
