Egyptian firm Aracemco renews its trust in Sacmi technology

New Riedhammer tunnel kiln with automatic handling now operational

Egyptian tile and sanitaryware producer Aracemco has just strengthened its partnership with the Sacmi Group.
The company, which has its production facility based in Abu Zaabal near Cairo, can now produce about 2.5 million pieces a year, thanks also to the new Riedhammer-made kiln.

The TWS 144/360/80-G tunnel kiln, equipped with a DWS 12/360/80 W pre-dryer, has just passed final testing with flying colours. The figures for this cutting edge kiln are nothing less than impressive: 144 m long, 3.6 m wide and an effective height of 80 cm, giving it an output capacity of over 5.000 pieces per day, equal to about 80 tons.

With a firing cycle of approximately 15 hours at the maximum temperature of 1250 °C, the kiln provides an outstanding combination of quality and - thanks to reduced fuel consumption – low production costs.
This is the result of combining an effective high-speed burner layout (burners are located both above and below the load) with the excellent temperature uniformity guaranteed by the air injected into the firing section.

The cooperation between Sacmi and Aracemco has allowed to achieve another important result with full satisfaction of the two companies.
