Eldorado, Egypt

new complete plant for the manufacture of sanitaryware supplied by SACMI.

Sacmi is to supply a complete plant for the manufacture of sanitaryware in vitreous china in the newly developed industrial area in Suez, Egypt. Production is expected to reach 500,000 pieces per year and later increase to 1 million/year. The plant features highly-automated machines ensuring high productivity levels per capita and top product quality. The products are mainly intended for export. In addition to supplying the machines and equipment, SACMI will provide technical support in order to pass on their know-how regarding the running of the plant and production. The plant utilizes automatic casting machines with high-pressure resin moulds to manufacture washbasins, stands, and flushing cisterns as well as automatic machines with plaster moulds for producing WCs. In this way, the right balance of both modern and traditional technologies is employed allowing greater production flexibility. These automatic machines mean that the plant is extremely easy to run even for non-specialized personnel.
