The new E5E dryer has arrived

Extrusion dryers, following the example set by tile dryers, now have 5 load levels. The evident advantage of in-factory space saving represents an important gain: the machine is higher yet shorter, freeing up space that the producer can then use for other purposes.

One of the key features of the E5E is that it can operate discontinuously: the E5E can be shut down and restarted without damaging the material.

Physical separation of the 5 levels ensures optimum uniformity of product treatment (ventilation and heating) and, in the event of breakage or normal particle detachment during on-roller conveying, the debris will not fall onto the underling material.

External to the main structure, the piping has been redesigned to improve circuit fluid dynamics and reduce load loss; this makes it possible to adopt less powerful fans and easier to obtain homogeneous conditions on the various levels.

The E5E is designed to provide energy savings: it keeps as much hot air re-circulating as possible and cuts intake of cold air to be preheated to a minimum.

Via the control panel the user can monitor dryer performance at all times. Key functional parameters are measured constantly and a warning is issued if they fail to fall within set limits.
