Facemag renews its trust in Sacmi

Fourth production line installed and started up successfully at the Casablanca plant

After the lines already installed, Facemag – one of the leading ceramic manufacturers on the Moroccan market – has commissioned a fourth line from Sacmi in order to boost daily output of wall and red body wall tiles to 50,000 square metres.

All the main machines making up the plant are made by Sacmi.
This latest order, in fact, includes three PH 3020 presses, three EVA 983 driers and four glazing lines. Then there is the firing department, with a 100-metre long twin-channel FBN kiln, equipped with cutting-edge XTR heat recovery systems, two handling/storage systems and, to complete the facility, two sorting lines with 10 stackers produced by Nuova Fima, specialising in the development of quality control and end-of-line solutions.

Already tested and started up successfully, this new line can produce up to 13,700 square metres a day and provides further demonstration of the trust that this Casablanca company places in Sacmi-supplied plant engineering solutions.

Yet another success, then, that reinforces Sacmi’s already undisputed position as the leading supplier of machines and technology to the Moroccan ceramic industry.
