Flaminia (Italia) - Civita Castellana

Sold a kiln for gres sanitaryware products

Sale of an SSK 440 kiln for on-car firing of gres sanitaryware products. Machine with 9-car load capacity Code SSK 440/110 - 9 cars Single-layer load type Output: 9 tons/day Start-up estimated for October 2001 Flaminia is one of the giants of Civita Castellana (Viterbo): in terms of output and number of plants, it is the world’s 6th largest. While this is the first time Sacmi has supplied this company, Sacmi is no newcomer to the area in which it is located: our machines have been used in neighbouring plants for some years, and their reputation of reliability and safety has induced others to follow in their footsteps and enjoy the same high performance benefits on their own lines. The Flaminia, kiln, (20 m long) is a shuttle-type single-layer kiln for the firing and re-firing of fine fire clay pieces (shower trays and large washbasins) with 9 cars giving an output of 9 tons/day. The kiln is expected to become fully operative in October.
