Flaminia: new application for internal glazing of the water trap

Automatic water trap glazing unit installed on existing glazing line

After a positive experience with semiautomatic internal glazing of WCs, Ceramica Flaminia (Civita Castellana-VT), a Sacmi customer for several years now, has decided to switch to a new version of this application and so take advantage of a fully automatic system.

To achieve that goal an automatic glazing line with robot has been installed on the existing line, which is based on a mixed process: flow coating and spray.

The main feature is the short WC internal glazing time, which results in an average cycle time of about 70/80”, and the main advantage lies, without doubt, in the fact that every surface of the under-rim is covered completely.
