Flaminia invests in Sacmi-supplied reliability

Two AVMs for de-moulding stick-on rim WCs now installed and started up

A long-standing protagonist in the Civita Castellana (Vt) sanitaryware-making district, Ceramica Flaminia has once again puts its trust in Sacmi to continue boosting its high-end product range. This time the customer has installed two AVM units for the de-moulding of stick-on rim WCs - and is extremely satisfied with the achieved reliability and performance levels.

Single-mould AVM machines for high pressure casting are more compact than low and medium-pressure casting machines and thus require less space. They also provide significant advantages in terms of energy savings and, moreover, boost finished product quality in a way that only high pressure casting can. Already widely appreciated by the market on account of their efficiency and durability, the AVMs used by Ceramica Flaminia have been equipped with two modern resin moulds able to handle the large volumes associated with one of the company’s top models, the Spin WC.

Sacmi is also the supplier of three further machines in use at Flaminia plants: three ALS casting centres for the robotised de-moulding of washbasins, console washbasins, bidets and, above all, shower trays, especially as regards the Tatami model, one of this Viterbo-based firm’s best-selling products in its Vitreous China and Fine Fire Clay water/sanitary line.
