Gaiotto grows on the fibreglass market

New solutions for Novellini spa, the world’s leading shower tray and hydro-massage manufacturer

Novellini spa, the world-leading producer of shower trays and hydro-massage units, has renewed its trust in Gaiotto Automation, the Sacmi Group company specialising in the design and manufacture of process automation solutions. After purchasing its first two Gaiotto robots way back in 1998, Novellini, based in Borgoforte (Mantova), has now upgraded to two all-new GA 2000 machines.

Equipped with an integrated mass-control system, these robots allow optimal control of fiberglass feed and laying, thus minimising waste and reducing consumption of raw materials. These latest solutions will join the other 3 Gaiotto-built robotized systems installed by Novellini over these first 15 years of mutually rewarding business relations.

This order provides further evidence of Gaiotto’s continuing growth and development. For years now Gaiotto has been reinforcing its know-how in sectors such as fibreglass, the core business of this Mantova-based company: a market that complements the more traditional business areas (ceramics first and foremost) where the Sacmi Group has been operating successfully for decades.
