Goldcer goes for growth with Sacmi

Portuguese company extends its product range with glazed porcelain tiles

Established in 1999 following the expansion and development of the Levira Group, Goldcer ceramics features some of the most modern tile-making equipment available. As always, the company’s focus is on customers’ needs and wants – and Goldcer remains convinced that customer satisfaction is best ensured through effective industrial and commercial partnerships.

It’s no chance occurrence, then, that this Anadia-based Portuguese company decided to get in touch with Sacmi following its decision to expand production capacity. The outcome? Just a few weeks ago a complete Sacmi-supplied production line, which includes a PH 3800 press capable of producing six 33x33 cm tiles per cycle, was started up. The plant also features an EVA 984 vertical drier and a FMS 250/119.7 kiln. To complete the line there is also a holding system, which features automatic AGV vehicles – made by Tecnoferrari – and a sorting and palletizing line, again supplied by Sacmi.

This plant will allow Goldcer to widen its product range with glazed porcelain tiles and strengthen its focus on growth and expansion. This Portuguese company now exports to 25 countries worldwide and is increasing its market shares steadily.
