New kiln for sanitaryware

Sacmi WhiteWare announces that it will soon be selling a new tunnel kiln for the continuous firing of sanitaryware items to the Hatria ceramic plant The plants consists of an SFD 340 14.7 m finishing drier, an STK 340 (110.22 m long) kiln and an automatic car transport and handling system that will provide an output of about 2000 pcs a day of glazed china and fine fire clay sanitaryware items. The constructive characteristics of the machine allow for the manufacture of oversize items such as top washbasins (28 kg/piece) and shower trays (42 kg/piece). The cars conveying the products to be fired have an effective width of 3200 mm and are 1400 mm long, allowing the user to load up to about 20 pieces of the above-described product types. This plant, to built according to the latest design concepts developed by the Sacmi R&D Division, is destined to become the “jewel in the crown” of the Group’s sanitaryware heat treatment field.
