High Tech Machinery of Negri Bossi at Europlast 02 Paris

NEGRI BOSSI 2002, April PRESS RELEASE EUROPLAST 2002 With “Europlast 2002” in Paris, Negri Bossi international fair tour goes on. New, hi-tech machinery will be introduced to the market, namely: CANBIO V 160 Simplicity and efficiency of CANBIO injection moulding machines come from the CANbus system. Inter-communicating microprocessors manage all machine functions, supervised by the main PC. As a consequence, a single connection cable (a tru “computerised highway”) is all it is needed to operate the machine, with the added benefit of an immediate identification of possible malfunctions. Since each machine function is performed by a delicated microprocessor, no doubt can arise on the cause of a problem, which can therefore be solved very quickly. The CANbus permits full communication with the AMICO remote assistance and monitoring system. ELMA VE 160 – VE 210 Two machines in the new “all electric” series. The series emerges out of Negri Bossi’s specific experience in the application of CANbus technology and the use of electrical drives/motors in hydraulic machines combined with a series of innovative engineering solutions which put this machine in the forefront with respect to “all electric” machines already available or about to come out on the market. This is not an alternative to the hydraulic solution, but rather a high performance range capable of meeting the most diverse moulding requirements in an absolutely standardised version. All it has in common with the hydraulic line is the basic structure of the toggle and the architecture of the system built up around the “CAN” field bus; all other machine components are essentially new, and many of them have been patented or have patents pending. Two machines will be demonstrated, a 160 and a 210 Ton, in communication with the AMICO remote assistance and monitoring system. V 600 A new high tonnage machine that makes full use of the CANbus solution already successfully implemented on the CANBIO medium tonnage series. Combines the advantages of the VECTOR series, an electrical motor with vectorial control for screw rotation and low energy consumption, with the benefits offered by the CANBIO series in a truly innovative and original machine. The machine’s low axis improves access to the moulding area, and used in combination with a robot makes it not only ergonomic but aesthetically attractive. The CANbus permits full communication with the AMICO remote assistance and monitoring system. Robot FLASH Negri Bossi is entering into automation, with a line of robots specially conceived for injection moulding machines. Machine/robot integration is developed to achieve maximum flexibility in operation with the greatest possible ease of use. The size of the models in combination with different groups of machines and the availability of optional solutions provide an answer for all current and future requirements in handling, palletising and positioning of inserts.
