Highly flexible and efficient loading systems

SACMI introduces its new range of MDR and ACD equipment for porcelainised stoneware (for whole-body or double-layer tiles) designed for installation on the linear feeder. The new equipment is extremely versatile and reliable, is capable of high production rates, even when handling the most sophisticated of products, and can be customised to suit all requirements. All accessories are designed to ensure flexible production, keep material stocks to a minimum and respond to the changing demands of the market as quickly as possible. When changing over the product without replacing the die-set (e.g. from whole-body to double layer or vice-versa), a minimum amount of time is required to replace the various accessories. This feature gives the pressing line a flexibility that has not so far been obtained with other solutions. The line can achieve top performance with any set-up. The sheer potential of such a system is clear - downtime is reduced to a minimum, thus favouring greater flexibility and enabling double loading to be carried out in the same line as single loading. A further advantage of this system is that it requires only gradual investment as it is possible to adapt the equipment slowly over time by purchasing the required accessories one at a time.
