More and more requests for information are now reaching the Group via its website

The info request service on the Sacmi website has already been used nearly a thousand times. To be precise, 475 contacts were registered between February 2003 and December of the same year while available data for 2004 (up to September) shows there have been 465 contacts. Requests routed through the Internet mostly come from foreign customers, who take advantage of the speed and convenience of this remote service to obtain clarification on a wide variety of matters: product information, technical explanations, products prices and estimates, special offers, information on dealerships and spare parts, partnership proposals and even gadgets sporting the Sacmi logo. The exponential growth of on-line requests illustrates that the Internet is an excellent customer care channel, capable of resolving customers’ problems efficiently and informally. To ensure effectiveness and reinforce the customer’s trust in Sacmi as a conscientious business partner, the service focuses on responding rapidly and in depth. Thanks to special info request management software all queries are immediately forwarded to appropriate offices in relevant Group companies and divisions where they are then processed swiftly: response times – depending on the complexity of the request – vary from 2 to 10 days.
