MAS technology enters the French market

Societé des Eaux de Monteux makes its debut with the innovative Sacmi Filling bottling plant

The Sacmi Filling-made plant for SEEM (Società des Eaux de Monteux) represents an important gain on the French market as this is the first time that technology from Sacmi’s MAS range has been purchased there. This new French mineral water firm has, in fact, gone for Sacmi Filling technology so as to ensure safety, reliability and outstanding output quality.
The innovative and strategic heart of the plant is the SOLO MAS 10-54-9 COMBO: combining the functions of blowing, filling and capping, the entire machine cycle is executed in less than a second so as to prevent any risk of contamination. Once the bottles have been capped they are subject to both cap and level inspection before a belt conveyor transfers them to the labelling machine and then on to the wrapping machine for packaging. The last stage is palletising.
Thanks to Italian technology, SEEM, launched in May 2006 with the Source des Garrigues brand, can now package 16,000 1.5-litre bottles of water an hour and has an output potential of 384,000 bottles per day
