Metal deep-drawing, Attrezzeria Marin Visino purchases a new Sacmi press

The company based in Cremona, a leading firm in the design and manufacturing of moulds for kitchenware and metal semi-finished goods, acquired a new PHP 5000 press. The company thus renews its trust in Sacmi Special Pressing solutions.

Key-player for more than 30 years in metal deep-drawing for the manufacturing of top quality kitchenware and metal semi-finished articles, Attrezzeria Marin Visino renewed its trust in Sacmi Special Pressing solutions. The PHP 3590 and PHP 5000Sacmi presses currently in operation – the latter supplied in 2005 – are now joined by an additional PHP 5000, installed and successfully started up last December and intended for the development of new products ranges for cold forged kitchenware production.
Already identified by the market as a true turning point in the field of aluminium pots and pans forging, the PHP 5000 press stands out for its high tonnage, that is for the option of managing, thanks to its high pressing force, medium-high thicknesses typically for high-end productions. The PHP 5000 press is also distinguished for its well-known reliability, safety and precision featured in the entire series of PHP hydraulic presses by Sacmi since the 2000s.

With a modern and innovative design, PHP 5000 is particularly suitable for manufacturing aluminium cookware with thick walls and depths up to 190 mm. The increased vertical clearance of the press, 1500 mm, improves distribution of pressing-induced strain and allows the use of even better suited moulds designed for cold forging.

Powerful and versatile, PHP 5000 can be fitted with Sacmi’s well-tested automatic discs preparation and loading/unloading system, thereby ensuring maximum flexibility to meet diversified manufacturing and market needs. With this supply, Sacmi renews its partnership with Attrezzeria Marin Visino, undisputed leader in this sector, for its technology, production quality and natural bent for innovation, thereby strengthening the existing collaboration for the manufacturing and marketing of moulds and the development of new technology for metal deep-drawing.
