Nanoceramics

Nanotechnology is now considered to be the “launch pad” for the industrial revolution of the 21st century. It’s no coincidence that nanotechnology is one of the six “strategic themes” on which European Union interests and financing are now focused. Sacmi is there too: through teamwork with university institutes and leading European companies, it continues to invest in this vital research area, the applications of which are countless: harder, more wear-resistant metals, plastics better suited to the preservation of food, scratch-proof, self-cleaning and bactericide ceramic surfaces plus electronic control system sensors.
