Nanostructured ceramic materials

The NANOS4 (nanostructured solid state gas sensors with superior performance) research project has been approved by the European Commission.

Coordinated by the National Institute for the Physics of Materials, this project aims to integrate nanotechnologies and new materials for the development of environmental and safety sensors. In addition to key research bodies, the project also involves Sacmi Imola, Studio Alfa srl, Vaisala Oyj, AOA GmbH and the makers of the Airbus, the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company.
