New PH4600: faster and more economic

It can produce all sizes of porcelain stoneware

Fully-fledged technical “restyling” for Sacmi’s PH4600 press. Like its predecessor, this new machine features a preloaded structure, the only solution capable of guaranteeing long-lasting structural rigidity and reliability on what is a complex set of elements that will be put through tens of millions of work cycles. The Sacmi PH4600 now features the latest SPE electronic proportional lifting device, which retains full parts interchangeability with existing dies.
The hydraulic circuit (which now consists of a battery of accumulators loaded by variable-delivery pumps that feed, under control of proportional valves, a flow rate/pressure multiplier) has, instead, been modified radically. This superb architecture combines precision control of all technological parameters with high output rates while simultaneously limiting maximum feed circuit pressure. Overall, then, the press raises productivity while reducing the running costs associated with maintenance, installed power and the energy needed to cool the circuit.
The operator interface consists of a push-button panel mounted on an articulated boom, complete with keyboard, large colour screen and dedicated PC control. All these characteristics make the new PH4600 an ideal tool for the production of all sizes of porcelain stoneware; the pressing “island” is able to handle all the most modern technical granito technologies, and can easily be interfaced (with single or double loading) with Sacmi Twinpress or Continua lines.
