New Sacmi kiln for Ceramica di Sirone

A new FMS 196 full of features designed to blend quality with energy savings

Ce.Si Ceramica of Sirone has just started up a second Sacmi-made kiln for the production of small-medium pieces. The kiln, a 90-metre FMS 196 – features all the necessary devices needed to ensure high output quality and maximum energy savings.

Among these, deserving of a special mention is Spinmark - a patented system that identifies roller breakages by detecting absence of rotation on damaged rollers. This kiln model also features the MDR energy saving system – with a split final cooling system and heat exchanger – and software for programmed control of gaps in production, indispensable when it comes to ensuring product planarity and quality.

So the mutually rewarding partnership between Sacmi and Ceramica di Sirone - one of the Italian most dynamic ceramic companies outside the Sassuolo manufacturing district - continues to go from strength to strength. For years, in fact, this company, owned by the Fumagalli family, has continuously invested in research into quality and colour, especially as regards its vast range of white-body floor and wall products, characterised by compact surfaces and brilliant colours.
