New plant inaugurated in Poland

Sacmi has supplied a line with 3 kilns and 5 presses. Paradyz confirms its role as leading European producer

An all-new Sacmi-supplied production line has been inaugurated at Tomaszow Mazowiecki, in Poland, at the plant owned by the Europe-leading tile makers, Ceramika Paradyz.
The plant – one of Europe’s most modern – is equipped with three 111.3-metre FMS255 kilns, each preceded by 10.5-metre JMS255 pre-kilns: an excellent set-up for the production of large-size monoporosa. The plant also features five PH3020 presses, characterised by a high stroke rate and an inter-column clearance of 2250 mm. Tile sizes start at 250x330 and 250x400 (both pressed 7 cavities at a time thanks to the width of the press and the vertical drier) and go all the way up to 999x333 mm.
Those invited to the inauguration were also able to enjoy the presentation of a new show-room: architecturally modern, this new facility displays the entire production range of the Paradyz group, from mosaic to monoporosa, from klinker to technical granito and glazed items.
The plant inaugurated on 25th June is Paradyz’s fifth. All five of them have been Sacmi-supplied, a clear indicator of continuous, mutually rewarding business relations and of the success enjoyed by Ceramika Paradyz, which, year after year, has succeeded in enhancing quality and boosting output capacity.
