New production line for Ceramica Venezia

Sacmi a strategic partner for one of the industry’s key Egyptian players

A quarter of a century of continuous investment in technological innovation has made it one of the most important Egyptian players in the industry, a high performance company capable of generating a good 50% of its business from foreign sales: this, in short, is Ceramica Venezia, located in Cairo’s “6th October” industrial district, a company that has now decided to boost its output capacity even further by installing a brand new Sacmi-supplied production line.

With assembly completed a few months ago, the new line is already running at full capacity; as a consequence output has, compared to the pre-existing plant, increased by 22,000 square metres a day. The main machines on the line are two modular MMC 074 mills, an ATM 140 spray dryer, three PH 3020 presses and two 140-metre kilns, providing a cutting-edge solution for the efficient management of the production mixes requested by the company (i.e. red body single fire and monoporosa).

An important step, then, that has allowed Ceramica Venezia to boost output capacity and, at the same time, reduce running costs thanks to the greater efficiency of the new machines.
