November: SACMI Imola beverage division at Emballage 2006

This Paris-held fair proved to be the perfect showcase for Sacmi Imola, which presented its latest plastic closures compression press, the CCM24S

After making its world debut at the Salon de l’Emballage, held in Paris from 20th to 24th November 2006, the CCM24S started generating sales immediately.
This machine is the latest addition to the CCM (Continuous Compression Molding) family made by SACMI Imola.
Developed to meet growing demand for one-piece caps, which are mainly used by the mineral water industry, the CCM24S has an output rate of 600 caps per minute (with just 24 moulds) and a cycle time of just 2.4 seconds.
Our stand generated keen interest and. Sale in Tanzania clearly demonstrate how this machine provides the ideal configuration for customers or countries having volume and price requisites that are more contained compared to other market-available solutions.
With the CCM24S, then, Sacmi appears to be much closer to achieving its goal of increasing its share within market segments characterised by low output volumes and low investment requirements.
