Sacmi Filling and Sacmi Imola Vision Systems Division join forces

Sacmi Filling and Sacmi Imola Vision Systems Division are working together to broaden the range of technologies that Sacmi provides to the market: one of the results of this teamwork is the innovative PVS001L Preform inspector. This partnership aims to bring together and make the most of Sacmi’s research work and production engineering experience in different industries.
The PVS001L Preform inspector features a camera for the pre-blow inspection of the end, thus allowing identification of all preforms with visible defects on the end and the rejection of those with residual dirt. With an output capacity of 20,000 preforms an hour, the machine can also be linked to a camera for post-blow inspection of the preform finish or the empty bottle end; both belong to the Sacmi Filling line.
The PVS001L Preform inspector was first applied to a COMBI line for a Moroccan customer.
