Pride of place for Sacmi at Icasa’s “birthday”

Brazilian company celebrates 40 years of business with the installation of a new AVB

On 3rd October, Icasa, one of the leading sanitaryware manufacturers on the Brazilian market, celebrated its 40th anniversary. And among those invited to the festivities, pride of place went to the Sacmi Group, which has now been partner to this Andradas-based firm since 2007.

Icasa is continuously engaged in the development of new technology and is a steady investor in process and product innovation; a few years ago they chose Sacmi to complete a comprehensive renewal of their production facilities, upgrading them to the highest technological standards the market has to offer. The last, but certainly not the least, machines to be supplied were the new high pressure AVB casting machines, the first of this type to be installed in South America.

Sacmi, then, gladly accepted the invitation offered by Icasa, a firm with which a successful, mutually rewarding industrial partnership has been built up on a market, South America, of strategic importance to the Group.
