Protesa becomes the sole agent for Waldrich Coburg

Now operative throughout Italy

A member company of the Sacmi Group, Protesa S.p.A. was founded in 2002 to provide workshop services for the entire production process: quality control, machine tool maintenance, metrology and calibration of instruments, quality certification consultancy, 3D modelling and reverse engineering.
On 23rd July 2005 the company became the sole Italian agent for Waldrich GmbH & Co. KG for the sale of machines produced under the WALDRICH COBURG brand name.
A world-leading manufacturer of large machine tools (such as vertical-axis portal and mobile-upright milling machines, special-purpose milling machines and traditional workstations, vertical lathes, flat and special grinding units, flexible machining systems etc.) that marry size with precision and provide maximum levels of automation, fully integrated multi-technology, plus excellent reliability and outstanding performance.
These machines are used to make large components in a wide range of industries. They are used to construct steelworks, machine large diesel engines and machine components for the energy industry. They are also used by machine tool makers themselves, to machine all sorts of large mechanical components, to machine the moulds and components used to construct presses - and much more.
Managing this new activity - which will launch Protesa nationwide - is Mr. Pietro Motta, who has over twenty years’ experience in the industry.
