Rovese Group expands output in Ukraine

New Sacmi Kemac line for the production of 10x10 tiles

Currently acknowledged as one of the world’s top ten tile and sanitaryware producers, the Polish group Rovese (formerly Cersanit) continues the rapid, highly successful implementation of its development plans, which have led to the establishment of production facilities in Poland, Ukraine, Russia and Romania.

The latest ceramic project is in Ukraine, where the plant in Novograd Volynskiy recently saw the installation of a 10 x 10 cm tile production line. Once again, Rovese management placed its trust in SACMI for the supply of the most important process machines: a PH690 proportional-hydraulics press, a Kemac EK/O horizontal drier, a Kemac EK 35.7 roller kiln and screen printing machines for decoration. This flexible line for the production of small sizes in monoporosa, thick porcelain tiles and also third fire products boosts the output capacity of the existing Kemac plant significantly.

This line thus complements and completes the large Ukraine-based Rovese facility, which has an annual output capacity of over ten million square metres and is equipped with the best SACMI technology on the market, also as regards heat recovery. And the rewarding partnership between Rovese and SACMI does not end here: other projects are already in the pipeline.
