SACMI Filling

Confirming the SACMI Group’s commitment to the beverage bottling industry, the end of 2002 saw the establishment of a new company, SACMI FILLING S.r.l., set up via a transfer of the activities and brand name of CORTELLAZZI FINTEC S.p.A., a SACMI Group company already operative in the same industry. Following this transfer the capital stock of SACMI Filling now stands at € 5.8 million. As part of a Group policy of maximising internal synergies, Sacmi Filling is part-owned by Sacmi e Catelli S.p.A., the SACMI Group’s holding company which deals with takeover bids in the foodstuff products production plant field. The short-term goals of this new company include development of a new product range, specially conceived and designed for contamination-controlled aseptic filling. The Cortellazzi product range, always a firm favourite with the market, will, of course, remain available and shall be improved in line with the latest technological developments.
