SACMI presents very “thick” news at TECNARGILLA exhibition

The PHR2006 will be on show

PHR2006, a 2000 ton press, double-acting thanks to floating withdrawing table, is the first one of a new series of projects which SACMI is realising to update its range of presses for the high-thickness forming of ceramic powders, refractories and alumina.

The new design combines SACMI traditional technical choices with thorough improvements, result of a 30-year experience matured by SACMI in the field, working in strict partnership with its own Customers to meet their requirements and with new world competitive scenarios.

Keeping unchanged the traditional success factors of SACMI trademark (use and maintenance easiness, reliability, user-friendly interfaces, extreme attention to the quality of the shaped product and to its tolerances both from the geometry and the from density point of views), a new structure made up of spheroidal iron casting joints with an hydraulic circuit, newly designed with the target to make the movable parts movements faster and to improve press performances.

PHR2006, which will be exhibited in the fair “TECNARGILLA 2006”, makes its new entry in the market as part of the segment of the highest production capacity and highest reliability level machinery.

SACMI, historically bound to the hydraulic pressing technology, keeps its roots firm and solid and looks ahead with continuity and optimism, with stronger and stronger eagerness to innovation and to the technically most sophisticated fields, such as the aluminium high thickness forming and coining, new challenge of the nearest future and reality of the present, with its presses PHP3590 and PHP5000 for cookware forming.
