SAMA delivers the tenth pressure casting plant of the new PCM series

Casting plant sold to BHS Tabletop AG, Germany

SAMA Maschinenbau GmbH is an enterprise belonging to the SACMI Whiteware Group: in delivering a PCM 200 casting plant of the new PCM series to the Schönwald plant of Germany-based BHS Tabletop AG, it has achieved something of a sales record. This series, in fact, was introduced onto the market just two years ago (in 2000), yet is already a favourite among potential customers. Today, ten SAMA plants have been sold all over the world and another five have already been ordered. The machinery, of course, has everything it needs to win market approval. The double-headed PCM 200 pressure casting plant operates on a completely automatic 3-shift basis in connection with an unloading and fettling robot. The considerable advantages of this set up include:  very low energy consumption thanks to electric and mini hydraulic drive system.  high output, no cooling, low compressed air consumption.  compact design, extensive opening stroke, large assembly areas - also for multi-tools.  electronic membrane damage control.  ideal for fully automatic operation with unloading and fettling robots,  excellent price/quality ratio.  pressure casting units can work independently in twin-head plants. These unique advantages convinced BHS Tabletop to lead the way and purchase the plant: almost immediately, SKV Porzellanunion GmbH Schirnding decided to follow in their footsteps.
